Welcome to the Yoga For the Bronx Community! Through Yoga For the Bronx, I hope to remind people that they are enough, they are worthy, and they are loved by just being here today. Mindfulness practices allows us to balance our body's energy, release toxic thoughts, heal past traumas, and choose joy and love because we are deserving.

About Me
As a Yoga Instructor, Public Health Professional, & Substance Abuse Counselor, I want to make the practice of yoga accessible, joyful, and an integral part of the Bronx community.
In 2012, while living in Santa Fe, NM, yoga was introduced to me as a self-care practice. For over 10 years, I worked closely with people surviving with mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, HIV/AIDS, identity crisis, and other chronic diseases. Yoga also helped me avoid burnout, as I repeatedly heard traumatic stories and witnessed behaviors that fueled a cycle of hurt and deteriorating health. I wondered how my patients could have transformed their lives if they had a self-love practice.
Yoga for the Bronx teaches self-love as a mode of healing through yoga, tapping, breathwork, and meditation.

Group Session
Beginner- level- Vinyasa and Yin
By bringing yoga directly to your organization, Yoga for the Bronx can create a group session to be uniquely tailored to your needs and schedule. Group Session integrates yoga poses, aromatherapy, tapping, and breathwork as part of my holistic technique.

Mindfulness experience
Aligning With Yourself
Bring your community together to share space with mindfulness practices: offering can be yoga, meditation, nature walks, and/or breathwork. Let's discuss what forms would best suite your community for a recharge and self-care practice.

Workshop
Self-care Together
Invite your friends or your staff to prioritize wellness and self-care. Workshops topics can varies from stress relief, self-care, and leadership. Together we'll create a safe space to foster community with mindfulness practices like tea time, journaling, stillness, and movement.
